The mission of Acapella Spirit is to bring people together to celebrate the strength, beauty and fun of unaccompanied voices raised in song.  While we are ‘born’ of Barbershop music, our musical choices will not be limited to only Barbershop-style arrangements.  We provide a beginner-friendly, welcoming environment in which to grow enthusiastic singers.

Acapella Spirit is an a cappella Mixed Chorus, open to adults 18 years and older.  We are also a member of the Wilmington, NC Chapter and The Carolinas District of The Barbershop Harmony Society. 

 

We meet at 6:45PM each Thursday, at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Wilmington, NC – 4313 Lake Avenue, across from Roland-Grise Middle School.  Our Chorus Manager is Thea Hagepanos.
