Cape Fear Chordsmen Rehearsal

If you like to sing—shower soloist, choir alum, or total beginner—you’ll feel at home at a Chordsmen rehearsal. We start with a warm welcome and quick vocal warm-ups, then jump into energetic singing blocks, short coaching moments, and the thrill of lock-and-ring barbershop chords. In the fall we polish our Christmas repertoire, but year-round we sing a wide mix—from barbershop classics (e.g., “Mary Lou”) to barbershop arrangements of pop favorites (e.g., “The Lion Sleeps Tonight”) and even modern hits.

No sight-reading needed: you’ll get learning tracks on day one, plus friendly section leaders to guide you. Expect a fun Tag Time (an easy, ear-candy chord snippet), occasional chapter quartet features, a quick coffee/raffle break, and a feel-good closer. No audition. All voice parts welcome—just bring water and your curiosity.
